About the Children’s Ministry

Worship is more than a Sunday event--- it happens every day in a Christian's life.  In fact, Sunday worship is the culmination of a week spent serving God at home, in school, and at play.  During Sunday and Wednesday’s services children bring the sacrifice of praise to God and are recharged by worship for another week of serving God and others.

Children’s Classes  (Age 4-12)

Greenville Community Christian Children's Church is a service held to teach children about the Bible.  The children learn about God's character and the character that Christians should have. Ministry areas include puppets, music, devotions, stories and scripture memorization.  The children are taught about prayer, offering, missions, and leadership in the church.  Through fellowship and games, the children can have fun and meet new friends.

Children’s church is held on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday at 7:30 for ages 4-12. It consists of age-appropriate classes that focus primarily upon Bible instruction. The class sessions include a wide range of topics which all strive to guide children to a closer, more intimate relationship with God.

·       Sunday’s Service is held in the JDC building beginning  with sign- in, followed by Praise & Worship. After announcements and offering, each age group (4-6, 7-9, 10-12) moves to their own  classroom. All groups continue the service at their level. Parents can pick up children in the JDC building sanctuary.

     ·     Wednesday Night’s Service, (with the exception of the 10-12 year olds)  held in the classrooms in the main Worship Center.  The 10-12 year old children start with Praise & Worship in the WorshipCenter, then continue their service in the JDC building.
