Meet the Pastors
Pastor Corbett and his wife Delores founded Community Christian Church in March 1982. God gave Pastor Corbett a vision to minister to the whole man; spirit, soul and body. The vision includes reaching communities with the gospel and taking the message of Jesus Christ around the world. Pastor Corbett is fulfilling that vision by practical teaching of the Word of God, through Men, Women and Singles Fellowships, seminars, crusades, the "Door of Faith" daily radio and television broadcasts, teaching tapes and supplementary books. The vision also includes mass media presentation, training centers and schools of ministry, programs for the disadvantaged and a Christian school (grades K-12). Many lives have been saved, healed and delivered by the power of God through his ministry.
Delores Corbett serves with her husband, Pastor James D. Corbett, at Community Christian Church. Sister Corbett is actively involved in the ministerial functions of the church such as teaching, preaching and personal ministry. She oversees the music ministry, conducts praise and worship, and teaches a monthly Women Fellowship.
Sister Corbett has a special and unique ministry in the area of mentoring women and teaching them how to be godly and victorious. She often shares her testimony on how God delivered her from a poor self-image and poor self-esteem. Many lives have been changed and many marriages have been saved. Countless women have learned their proper and unique place in the Body of Christ, in their homes, and in their church.
